We are a Wellington based Group of Acupuncturists
I have over 10 years experience as an Acupuncturist and operate a busy clinic in the Wellington CBD. I am passionate about women’s health, fertility and mental health. I also specialise in paediatrics (treating children and teenagers from birth up to the age of 17). At my clinic you will be nurtured in a professional, warm and caring environment that encourages healing and delivers long-term beneficial health gains.
Hi, I’m Coco and I love working with traditional Chinese medicine to help heal and restore health the natural way. As a professional trained acupuncturist my aim is quite simple; to make others feel and live better.
The name “The Acupuncture Woman” was fondly inspired by my much cared for and valued clients and nestled in the heart of Wellington CBD is my welcoming, warm clinic.
Greetings all. I enjoy supporting women through the childbearing years both in my midwifery and acupuncture roles. Most women find some aspect of this journey a challenge, wether its getting pregnant, staying pregnant, coping with pregnancy symptoms, thinking about and preparing for birth and parenting, the birth itself, and getting it all together in the early weeks and months. Many women find acupuncture helpful from promoting normal menstrual cycles and general health prior to conception, support through assisted fertility treatment, minimizing troublesome pregnancy symptoms and preparing for and recovery from birth. The early weeks of parenthood can be a heady mixture of excessive joy and tension, sometimes overwhelming. Acupuncture can be helpful if you’re tired and can’t relax. Most people find my comfy table puts them to sleep on its own so only need minimal treatment.
All enquiry welcome.

Hi, I’m Natalie from Tao Clinic in Wellington City. I’m passionate about treating women’s health conditions and offering fertility support. I have special experience working with pregnant women with complaints such as back pain and morning sickness, and providing pre-birth treatment. My training included experience at Hutt Hospital Pregnancy Acupuncture Clinic. I also have a genuine passion for treating mental health concerns and am a member of AMH (acupuncture for mental health) clinical interest group too.
I was inspired to study Chinese Medicine during a trip to a Health and Gong Fu school in China. On returning to New Zealand I studied acupuncture and Tuina (Chinese Medical Massage). I practice Chinese martial arts and movement therapy for health, including Tai Qi and Qi Gong. My earlier background includes media arts, teaching, charity work, and emergency call taking for the ambulance service. These unique experiences enable me to bring compassion and insight to my treatments in order to support women with their health holistically. I aim to deliver my best possible explanation, treatment, and supportive advice so patients can gain awareness of ways to live in balance and experience good health.
